Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her acting career with supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and had a supporting role in the show that ran for a short time The Ex List. She was Kaylee as a young Moira in the first season of FX's American Horror Story. The character was played by Jessie on AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie played her character in The NBC show This Is Us. She also is the voice of several characters from the animated comedy series Family Guy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother when she was of 10. They went through a few moves before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to become interested in acting, photography, and singing at age 13. When she turned 15 she moved with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
