Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer born in NYC in the United States on the 22nd of November the 22nd of November, 1984. Her acting has earned her acclaim across a wide spectrum of genres such as period dramas or thrillers, as well as action films. Johansson daughter of an architect and producer, was born in New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. By the time she was seven, her interest in acting had grown. She began to audition for commercials. The passion for acting developed quickly, and she was soon after in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. When she was eight years old, Johansson appeared alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway show. At the age of nine she made her acting debut in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was next seen as a character in Just Cause (1996), but it was Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The movie is about two young girls that are running away. Her next film won the attention of critics for her character in the film as a teen who been injured in a horrific accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) as well as further recognition for her role as the cynical teenage outcast Rebecca on the set of Ghost World (2001). She discovered her passion for acting when she was a little girl. Smith got her first of her acting gigs in the age of 6. Smith was in a Dannon commercial on TV. Similar to many actors starting out, she decided to perfect her art in the realm of theatre. As she was making her stage debut in Wildflower she was also working on different projects across USA. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
