Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on the 5th of February, 1964. She is an American actor best known for her talent in portraying powerful characters that are at risk. Linney grew up in the family of actors like her father, Romulus Linney is a playwright. In 1986, she received her degree from Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at Arts Theatre School Moscow before graduating from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City 1990. She started performing immediately on Broadway and was awarded awards for her roles, including Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
